Top 10 Tips for Healthy Digestion

06/06/2018 @ 07:00 pm - 06/06/2018 @ 09:30 pm

Lisa Chothia, The Nutritional Realist, will take us through ten positive ways to support our digestive systems. A healthy digestive system is critical for good health. About 80% of the immune system resides in the gut – this is needed to protect the body from the diverse intake of food and drink that we consume.

Poor digestion can therefore have a negative impact on immune function sometimes triggering inflammatory conditions. But poor gut health isn’t just about common problems of bloating, gas or constipation; if you have ever wondered why you regularly have poor skin, broken nails, headache and fatigue, it could be down to your digestive system not functioning at its best.

We’ve been chatting to Lisa about her talk and she’s had us giggling about the props that she will be using on the night! This will be a fun and interactive exploration of our digestive health, with a handout for everyone to take home so there’s no chance of forgetting the top tips.

About Lisa Chothia

Lisa believes that nutrition should be easy, that it should work with and for you. She believes that food is your fuel to be enjoyed with your life.

Through The Nutritional Realist she provides corporate workshops, talks and menu advice as well as working with you on a 1:1 basis offering testing, and supplementation only where necessary.

She has a holistic method of working, looking at every aspect of you and how it impacts on your health goals.

Lisa has a love of animals, can often be found munching her way round a vegan fair and recently travelled to Disneyland Paris where she appeared to spend the whole weekend in Minnie Mouse ears. We love her because when she’s around we always have fun!

The booking facility for this event will be provided closer to the date.
